Experience science from Wilhelmshaven live?

That is possible at the Long Night of Science!

At the Long Night of Science, research becomes accessible to the public. Scientific institutions from Wilhelmshaven provide insights into their work, present current projects and invite visitors to participate, ask questions and discover.

The Institute of Avian Research also takes part in this format. Visitors learn more about our research on birds, behaviour, orientation, migration and environmental change. Whether young or old – everyone is welcome!

At the 3rd Long Night of Science on 21 June 2024, Sandra Bouwhuis und Miriam Liedvogel offered exciting insights into the life of the common tern and into research on bird migration.
