Academic service
I am Associate Editor at Journal of Animal Ecology (2023-present) and co-Associate Editor for a Special Issue in Journal of Avian Biology (2023-ongoing). I am also member of the British Ecological Society (BES) Review College (2019-present). I have examined PhD theses (1) and reviewed manuscripts for or different journal within the fields of ecology, evolution and physiology see my Web of Science profile. I have also reviewed grants for Natural Environment Research Council, UK (1), the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), Generic Call, France (1), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (FONCYTI), Argentina (1) and the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, Hungary (1).
Other relevant experience
I currently hold and have previously held licenses for animal experimentation in Germany, the UK, and Sweden. I possess a German Ringing License (Helgoland Scheme, equivalent to a BTO A permit) and a Spanish Ringing License (Aranzadi Scheme, also equivalent to a BTO A permit). Additionally, I have extensive ringing experience in Sweden, Italy, Portugal, and Hungary.
