Guest appearance on the podcast “Watten-Post” - travelling with Tweety

The Institute of Avian Research was a guest on the podcast „Watten-Post“ by the Förderverein Nationalpark Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer. In keeping with the Migratory Bird Days, the topic was one that is especially close to our hearts: bird migration.

Lilian, a former student of NGW, spent a year gaining insights into many areas of our research as part of the “Drehtür Modell”. In her contribution “Tweety the Migratory Bird” in the Watten-Post podcast, she shared her fascination for migratory birds. With enthusiasm and scientific curiosity, she takes listeners on a journey between the North Pole and the South Pole and explains, among other things, why birds migrate and how climate change influences their routes.

The Institute of Avian Research warmly thanks Lilian for her commitment and inspiring collaboration.
