The Institute of Avian Research warmly wellcomes Dr. Juan Carlos Illera of the University of Oviedo. Dr. Juan Carlos Illera will spend February to Juli at the Institute, researching together with Prof. Dr. Miriam Liedvogel the evolutionary history of the colonisation of the macronesian islands by the Blackbird.
