Since the beginning of the year, our Science Suitcase is ready for going on a journey, so it’s time to introduce it! 

It contains six different activities and games about common terns. Children can explore the lives of these lovely birds, both in and around our colony at the Banter See and on their long journey to Africa, in a playful and creative way. Interested groups comprising kids aged 10 to 14 can borrow the suitcase and, with guidance from a member of the common tern team, also gain insight into the work of the researchers at the institute.
