kids4kids receives the UGO Open Science Award

Our pilot project kids4kids – bird migration has been awarded with the Open Science Award 2026 by the Universitätsgesellschaft Oldenburg e. V.. Within this award, the UGO honors projects that communicate research in a transparent, publicly accessible and understandable way.

The award was presented during the 14th Science Slam at the University of Oldenburg on 17 June 2026, where Miriam Liedvogel, Sabrina Satzinger and Wiebke Endres introduced the project on stage.
