My research focuses on the regulatory mechanisms that govern migratory behaviour in partially migratory songbirds. To date, I have focused in particular on the adaptation of the migratory phenotype of European robins to global anthropogenic environmental changes. One of my objectives is to gain a more in-depth understanding of the mechanisms that underpin the adaptation of migratory behaviour to changing environmental conditions.
