Teaching

Teaching is an important task of the IAR.

Prof. Liedvogel is a professor of ornithology and Dr. Bouwhuis has habilitated. Both are  enrolled as teachers at the University of Oldenburg. Teaching duties include giving lectures, presenting seminars, supervising practicals, organising excursions and supervising Bachelor and Master theses.

In collaboration with the Institute for Biology and Environmental Sciences from the University of Oldenburg, the IAR offers the 'Master in Biology with a focus on Ornithology'. More information regarding this Msc programme can be found on the website of the University of Oldenburg.
